Meadow Vista

Meadow Vista is a small rural community located off the I-80 corridor cradled in the Sierra Foothills just above Auburn. The hills are covered with a mix of oak and pine trees that occasionally get covered with a dusting of snow. There is one main street lined with small businesses, the Holiday Market, Ace Hardware and the Placer Hills Fire Station.

Meadow Vista is a mix of homes, small ranches, the lakeside properties around Lake Combie and the high end golf course homes of Winchester Country Club.

This area definitely has a country feel. Many of the properties have wells, propane tanks and septic systems or some combination. Young families find this area attractive because of the good schools, abundant outdoor activities, homes on acreage and a reasonable commute to jobs.
