Nevada City

Nevada City is located on the Western Slope of the Sierra Nevada about an hour west of Lake Tahoe. At a 2,500 foot elevation the town is surrounded by forest and is above the snow line. The downtown area is a national historic landmark and the businesses in the area have retained the texture and feel of small town Nevada City.
